With this initiative as a starting point, we will bring out the potential of Japanese startups that has been buried until now. Although Japan has many promising technologies and many startups, the ecosystem and community for implementing these products in society is still immature compared to other countries. On the other hand, the tide has been turning in recent years as many local governments, including the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, have been actively involved in the project and large companies have accumulated experience in supporting startups. In this project, we will collaborate with "only" organizations within companies and local governments that are serious about creating innovation through startups, and support "only" startups that are serious about implementing business in Japan and overseas, to solve urban issues.

  • Being a Japanese and overseas company committed to innovation centered on startups
  • Interests in areas related to metropolitan issues (Related fields such as smart cities, mobility, energy, decarbonization, resource recycling, and disaster prevention)
  • Start-ups in fields related to urban issues (Smart cities, mobility, energy, decarbonization, resource recycling, disaster prevention, etc.)
  • Startups that intend to implement their products in Tokyo
  • Startups with global ambitions
