MoRo is an innovation cluster where organisations possessing cutting-edge technologies and implementation capabilities in next-generation mobility and robotics converge to drive the development and demonstration of new services and infrastructure solutions.
It fosters solutions that address challenges in daily life and industry.

Promoting the development and collaboration of new services and infrastructure solutions in the next-generation mobility and robotics sectors. Alongside research and development addressing on-site challenges at demonstration sites, proof-of-concept trials, and support for field deployment and initial implementation, we provide early access to knowledge on design standards and certification acquisition to reduce barriers to overseas expansion. By fostering collaboration where diverse organisations contribute their expertise, we accelerate societal implementation both domestically and internationally, creating projects that contribute to the sustainable development of industry and daily life.

To realise the societal implementation of next-generation mobility and robotics, we will proceed with a sense of urgency, leveraging the strengths and addressing the challenges of large corporations, start-ups, and supporters. Through iterative development and verification tailored to the challenges encountered in the field, combined with technical support, expert growth assistance, and network collaboration, we will ensure these solutions are brought to fruition and reliably deployed. Furthermore, with an eye on international markets, we provide knowledge on design standards and certification acquisition from an early stage, reducing barriers to overseas expansion. We will establish multiple implementation cases rooted in society, building a cluster that disseminates Japanese-originated technology globally. To achieve this, ‘MoRo’ will challenge with full commitment, delivering innovative value to society with a sense of urgency, and pioneering new convenience and prosperity for daily life and industry.
